Back when I was running my property management company in Indy, I had a listing that was… “unique.”
The layout was weird. The location was tricky. Honestly, it was a hard sell.
My team grinded and got it leased in 14 days. I was pumped. In my head, this was a massive win. I called the owner to share the good news, expecting a “Great job!” or a virtual high-five.
Instead, he was furious.
I was confused. “14 days is incredible for this market,” I told him (I bit my tongue about his property being a bit of a nightmare location and layout).
