The Top 100 is live (and the story behind it)
It started when I was 22.
I was a young real estate investor, hungry and moving fast. I executed 20–30 successful BRRRs in an 18 month span, went full-time, and eventually, almost by accident, became a property manager.
Why?
Because when I interviewed existing PMs to manage my portfolio, I was unimpressed. I couldn’t find anyone I trusted to care for the assets I’d worked so hard to build. So, I started my own management company.
But something kept nagging at me.
I kept thinking: Why is it this hard to distinguish the great operators from the bad ones?
The industry needed a “CarFax of Property Management.” It needed a trust layer. A way for the truly exceptional operators to stand out in a crowded, noisy market.
The “Stars Aligning” Moment

That was the moment it clicked. If we were going to build the “CarFax” of our industry, the ultimate standard of trust and verification, it had to be built on this domain.
At that point, it was just an idea. A vision of what the industry could be.
Today, that idea is very real.
Since we relaunched in early October, the response has been nothing short of amazing:

- Monthly traffic to our site has grown by 10x since launch

These aren’t just names in a hat. These are high-performers. To give you context on the caliber of these companies: Our #1 ranked PM has an NPS score of 60. (For reference, this is nearly 2x higher than the industry average).
What’s Coming Next? We are just getting started. 2025 is going to be massive, and we are launching five major initiatives immediately.
(1) The Accountability Committee
To ensure our scoring remains fair, objective, and driven by the industry, we are launching an Accountability Committee. We want this standard to be set by PMs, for PMs.
(2) TrueRent Beta Pilot
We are working on a new rent estimate tool that links directly to your PropertyManagement.com profile to bridge the gap between “visibility” and “conversion.” It’s powered by your actual comps, meaning it will eventually be laser accurate compared to the generic tools out there.
However, we want to be humble about where we are: This is a true Beta. It is a Pilot.
We aren’t looking for the masses yet; we are looking for early adopters, the builders who like to be in on the ground floor and help shape a product before it goes mainstream.

(4) The Client Portal and Company Profile 2.0 (Early Q1)
A major product update is coming. Soon, you will be able to log in, manage your score, view your survey results, and grab dynamic marketing widgets to display your verification status directly on your website.
(5) The Mobile Podcast Studio
(I bought a vancraft van!) Finally, I want to meet you where you are. I recently bought a van and we are outfitting it as a fully mobile podcast studio.
