Yes. You retain full ownership and decision-making authority. TrueNest manages the daily operations on your behalf but always consults you for major decisions such as large repairs, tenant disputes, rent adjustments, and lease approvals.
How long does it take to find a tenant?
On average, it takes 2–4 weeks to secure a qualified tenant, depending on market conditions, rent amount, and property type. We prioritize finding the right tenant — not just the fastest one — to ensure reliability and long-term occupancy.
How does TrueNest handle tenant screening?
Every applicant aged 18 or older undergoes a full background check including credit, rental history, employment verification, and criminal screening. We conduct our own screenings and share the results with you so that you can make the final tenant selection confidently.
How does TrueNest handle property maintenance requests?
Tenants can submit maintenance requests online, allowing us to coordinate timely and cost-effective repairs. We work with a network of licensed and insured vendors but can also accommodate your preferred contractors. Can I terminate my management agreement with TrueNest Property Management?
