Are you licensed?

Yes, in North Carolina you are required to have a current North Carolina Real Estate Brokers License in order to do Property Management.

Can you put the money directly into my account?

Yes! In fact, we do not take checks from tenants and we do not make payments via checks to owners. We use ACH payments to our owners. Just like any other direct deposit and completely secure.

How is rent collection handled?

Tenants have a secure Tenant Portal that they use to make online payments to us.

How much security deposit do you charge the tenant?

Minimum is 1 month's rent for a security deposit.

What type of reports do I get and how often?

You have access to a variety of property reports through your Owner Portal and can run them anytime at your convenience

Who holds the tenant security deposit?

MasterKey Property Management, LLC holds the security deposits in our Security Deposit Trust account.

How and when do I get my checks?

We use secure ACH payments to direct deposit payments into your designated bank account. Typically payments are processed between the 10th & 15th of the month, usually being received no later than the 13th.
