How do we handle pets and what is the pet fee?
Pets are not permitted without owner approval. When pets are allowed, a non-refundable pet fee of $500 is required for each animal. We do not allow fish tanks due to potential water damage. Any damage above and beyond the pet fee remains a tenant’s responsibility. Emotional support animals and service animals are not subject to any fees or deposits. Assistance animal documentation is verified via a third-party pet screening program.
What is your process for screening tenants?
Screening is incorporated into the application process. In addition to credit, ForeShore checks employment, verifies income, and contacts past landlords. If the tenant is local, local Magistrate Court records are also checked for any pending cases such as drug charges or evictions.
How do I sign up for management of my property?
Submit the online inquiry form for a prompt phone call, or call the office directly to arrange a call and/or home visit. Once you decide to move forward, a management agreement is sent via email for e-signature.
Does ForeShore coordinate maintenance for its managed properties?
Yes. A maintenance manager coordinates maintenance and vendor activities. ForeShore contracts with licensed and insured contractors.
